Our copper is mined & milled in USA & is of the highest quality.   Patina Our solid copper pieces can be finished with a patina. This is not a spray or paint, but changes the surface of the copper. Finally, it is coated with a professional grade clear coat to protect the surface. This clear coat can withstand temperatures up to 700°F. We also offer an optional wax finish. See below for patina options. Patina Options Other information: Installation:  Recommended over tile or concrete backer board. Clean surface so it is dust and grease free. Use construction adhesive to apply the copper backsplash to the backer board and follow drying times on the instructions. You may use double sided sticky tape (construction quality) to hold the backsplash in the desired position while adhesive is drying. Care and Maintenance:  Clean with a soft damp cloth and mild soap.
