What is a vintage classroom homeschooling environment you ask? Well first of all, the teacher is a Certified Homeschool Instructor with over 30 years of classroom experience, experienced Nurse, Mother of 3 (and many more, after so many years I have lost count) and Grandmother of 3. Secondly our classroom environment, media and textbooks are dated late 1800's to 2008 ensuring your child a solid learning foundation. Third, the small classroom environment stimulates peer social interaction on a personal level. Our homeschool is limited to 8 children. Our classroom is under the Grace Christian Homeschools umbrella which regulates your child's legal educational progress. Our homeschool features: Large Interactive Classroom: Grades 2 -12 Biblical World view based group & individual curriculum featuring: Reading, Writing, Grammar, Math, Food & Nutrition, American and World History, Science, Music, Seasonal, Holiday & Thematic Arts, Crafts, & other take home creations, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Field Trips, Current Events, Health, Safety, Manners and much, much, more. Educational Field Trips for all once a month to enhance the classroom curriculum. There is a low group rate fee per child for most events - others are FREE. Parents are welcome to join us. Children also bring enough money for lunch and 1 (one) thoughtfully selected personal gift per outing. We feature a well equipped, large and fun outdoor Play/Exercise area with critter pens and critters galore! Hands on animal husbandry education and guidance included. Jr High & High School curriculum also includes: Computer Business: Web Design, Building, Launching & Maintenance - We are currently working on a vintage educational curriculum website for homeschoolers along with eBay buying and selling techniques. Beginning & Intermediate Cooking - Full nutritional guidance along with hands on home cooking skills Beginning and Intermediate Sewing - All phases of beginning and intermediate sewing skills including apparel and accessories design Child Development Instruction - Beginning and intermediate child development curriculum for education, childcare, or pediatrics Geriatrics Instruction - Beginning and intermediate geriatrics Auto/Motorcycle Mechanics - Beginning and Intermediate All meals and snacks are included - no more nutritional worries!! Classroom is in attendance Monday through Friday - we will provide the guidance you need up until 8 p. m. - no more child guidance worries!! Located at my home in the National Forest, Descanso, East San Diego County California - 7 min to/from Viejas Casino/Outlet - and VERY FREEWAY CONVENIENT!! Quick off and back on again convenience!! Class for the 2008/2009 school year begins September 8. Fees - $50.00 per day OR $150 weekly - includes ALL school supplies - no more school supply woes - and ALL nutritional food and drinks - no more school breakfast/lunch/dinner/snack woes. Discount for 2 or more related children. Semester or annual Grace Christian Homeschool Enrollment Fee is extra.
