AFFORDABLE WEB DESIGN | Custom web design and internet services. Always unique. Unique. Practical. Sensible. For over twenty years, I've been creating websites for people all over the world. Some sites have been complex. Others have been simple. Some I manage for the client. Others are handled by the site owners and I simply assist "if a problem pops up." I do work for commercial studios with nationwide demographics. I handle work for small, local companies and businesses. I design and develop websites for guys and gals working out of their home offices and basements. Layouts that are interesting to view, easy to navigate, and which make the client's site stand out from the norm... I believe the success of a website is purely it's content. I, also, believe that if a site visitor can't find that content - the site is not fulfilling it's purpose (whether it is to offer information, to sell a product or service, or even to simply be amusing). Basic sites (4-5 pages) run in the $150-200 range. The price includes all html layouts, graphics (whether supplied or created here), and any assistance you'll need to get the site up and running on your server (including assistance with writing/editing content, content development, hosting and server issues, and site management programs). For additional information and options, see below. No two sites are ever the same. Each website that I build is totally from scratch. I don't use pre-bought templates. Never have. Probably never will. The way it works out, no two sites are ever the same. It takes a little more time to work this way, but it is worth it. These sites represent a mixture of concept ideas, as well as different styles of making a online presentation. Some of the sites are now owner-managed for content. I do offer a convenient CMS addition for a minimal cost. "What can I do for you today?" Everyone has a unique vision of what they feel their website should look like. That is one of the challenges for any web designer when doing custom work, trying to match a client's vision with a layout that will work on the web - a layout that makes sense and works in a practical way. Most of my clients are long-term. I've been with them for years and we've developed a particular relationship that seems to work well from both sides. After awhile we tend to "learn" more about how the other works and thinks. I monitor most sites after they are completed simply as a matter of habit. If I notice something that may help a site, I mention it. If a clients wants to expand on a site, they simple email or call and we work at it. It can be weeks before we need to make some changes. It can be years. In some cases, it can be a day-to-day thing. Each site is different and has different requirements and maintenance issues. "There is no elevator to Page One Google" A site's ranking in the Search Engines can be important to a client. I take this into consideration and follow a very Organic SEO approach when developing a site. The results are comparable to that of much larger companies offering SEO services, but at a fraction of the cost. A strategic SEO Program can be time consuming. Utilizing an "organic" approach, it is realistic to consider a minimum of three months before any serious results are attained - particularly if it is a new site with no longevity or prior history. The advantage of an "Organic SEO" is it's stability within the search engines. Once in place, it only becomes a matter of an occasional "tweaking" for additional gain. It is far more economical and practical than "paid for" placements and advertising. The webStudio offers a variety of SEO options. About Pricing and Services Unlike some offers you may find here on eBAY, I don't promise to build a site in a week. I, personally, think that is impossible except with the most simple of sites. As well, my prices are exceptionally "affordable" considering the amount of work and hours which go into each project. I do retain the option of reviewing a project before accepting it. The fact of the matter is, each web designer has a particular talent that should be matched to a particular type of website. If I feel we are not a match, I will tell you upfront. It's nothing personal. I simply prefer to offer the best I can, and respect that you expect the same in return. BASIC PSD WORK. $40-60 A "graphic" rendering of what the site will look like. It's is a visual Photoshop jpeg rendering. It may take numerous attempts to create one that fits your site needs and presentation. For some web studios and agencies this is all that they need. HTML SLICING. $20-60. Once a PSD rendering is approved, the "graphic rendering" needs to be "sliced" into a use-able format (html) for the web. In some cases, this can involve some precision graphic work (especially when creating intricate roll-over effects or particular layout placements). Once completed the "site" is ready to be populated (text and content added). SITE POPULATION. $10-35 per page. Pricing depends on how much of the page content you have prepared ahead of time. In the case of a site re-Build (updating your existing site) the cost in minimal. On the other hand, if I am actually researching and composing the site content, the cost will increase accordingly. ORGANIC SEO. $35-175. SEO pricing is determined on a project by project basis. If you want a very basic SEO with an initial site build, it averages around $35 for a basic 4-5 page site. This does include installing Google Analytics to the site. Ongoing SEO and development begins with a $175 package that includes 3-months of monitoring and site revisions. Generally, any additional SEO work past that point is covered by a monthly agreement, which tends to range in the $35-50 range. FOR MORE INFORMATION please do feel free to email me. If you are relatively "new to all this" (and most of what's listed above seems like Latin), it boils down to a general website for about $150-200. Again, if you have questions, simply ask. These are the same prices I offer professional studios and agencies throughout the country, and they come to me to do work whenever they can't complete a project "in budget," often marking my cost up 200-400%. Offering a discount to something that is already discounted simply doesn't make sense. Simple, across-the-board pricing is just easier to keep track of for myself. I do, however, offer discounted pricing for work on sites that I have built. It simply makes sense. "I did it." I pretty much know how to revise, update or expand it. I can prepare a formal estimate as to what your particular project will cost and a schedule date for completion. I do offer refunds depending on the nature of the work involved.
