It is powered by a John Deere X740 diesel tractor (NOT A LAWN MOWER). It has a shaft driven hydrostatic transmission, with no belts to slip which means hills are no problem. you don't need to stay on level ground like with other trackless trains. Have your own tractor, don't worry this unit is avalable without the tractor for $25000.00. This train comes with engine cover and three coaches with a capacity of 27 passengers and it has plenty of room for the larger adults. Each seat will hold 2 adults and 1 child or up to 4 kids. The boiler cover is removable to service the engine, no more having 4 people lift the cover off just to check the oil. It has a working headlight, brass bell and train whistle. It has padded seats with seat belts. All coaches have steerable front wheels and heavy duty 1 inch spindles with automotive type tappered roller bearings.
